Peter Candarini serves as Associate Partner at Capstone CPAs and Advisors, where he leads the firm’s audit practice with a dedicated focus on Community Association Accounting. A licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Community Association Manager (LCAM) in the State of Florida, Peter holds a Master’s degree from Western Governors University and brings over a decade of leadership and technical experience in the community association space. He is also a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA).
Throughout his career, Peter has worked with hundreds of condominium and homeowners’ associations across Florida’s Treasure Coast, providing strategic financial guidance and overseeing comprehensive accounting and advisory services. He helps Boards and management teams implement effective internal controls, streamline financial processes, and maintain compliance with industry standards. In his previous role, Peter served as Vice President & Controller of the South Florida division for one of the largest community management companies in the United States.
In his current role, Peter oversees the planning and execution of audits, reviews, and compilations, ensuring full compliance with GAAP, regulatory standards, and best practices for Community Associations. His expertise encompasses financial statement preparation and analysis, internal controls, budgeting, account reconciliation, and strategic financial guidance to Boards and executive leadership. Peter’s experience allows him to deliver actionable insights and high-value management recommendations.
Peter is recognized for his collaborative approach, strong relationship-building skills, and clear communication. He works closely with Boards, management teams, and clients to provide practical financial solutions that support organizational goals and strengthen governance.
In his free time, Peter enjoys spending time with his family and following his favorite sports teams. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, he is a devoted fan of the New York Yankees and New York Giants.
